Mayor congratulates Team Activate (June 06, 2009)
On a warm Friday evening Newtownabbey Borough Council graciously hosted a celebration evening for a group called Team Activate. The group of adults took part in a 30 week programme with World Champion Danny Corr and former British Champion Louise McQuillan. The Course consisted of self-protection, health and fitness, nutritional guidance and karate jutsu.
After 30 weeks of amazing commitment and hard work the group received their first belt and a very special certificate of achievment. Click here to return to the News page
